Waldorf Astoria New York Finally Reopens

The Waldorf Astoria New York, one of the city's iconic landmarks, had its Grand Reopening last November 6 with famed New Yorkers, celebrities and tastemakers.

Paris Hilton, the heir to the Hilton hotels empire, who lived in the iconic hotel wasn't one to miss the special event.

Also in attendance were New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson, actress Elizabeth Gillies, news anchors Gayle King and Katie Couric, actor Ben Ahlers, Queens native Fran Drescher, newly-minted Broadway actress Mira Sorvino, and fashion designer Vera Wang.

Guests were welcomed with a live performance from the Saint Trapped Choir before ascending the grand staircase and were further treated to the sounds of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band as they entered the iconic silver corridor set. 

Everyone were invited to explore the transformed speak-easy style Jazz Club where old time cigarette hosts delivered themed surprises with jazz singer Halie Loren performing.

Just down the hall actor Aaron Paul brought his brand, The Only Caviar, into the Caviar Room as everyone enjoyed caviar bumps, bubbles, and martinis.

Cristina Gatti & Champagne Dream opened the program with an electrifying number.

Hilton CEO and President Chris Nassetta shared his excitement and enthusiasm for finally reopening the Waldorf Astoria New York. 

The celebration concluded with nightcaps in Peacock Alley set to the sounds of DJ Mad Marj.
