Back in May 2006, I was given the assignment to take photos of Tetchie Agbayani. It was one of my very rare assignments to shoot celebrities in my early years with Newsbreak Magazine. I was usually assigned to take on some of the more serious news or light feature assignments, but never celebrities.

Tetchie was not in the showbiz spotlight at that time. Her claim to fame back then was from her early pageant years and then seeking a Hollywood career.

We (me and writer J Alwyn Alburo) would meet her up at the Ateneo de Manila University grounds as she was taking her masteral studies for 'Psychology and Counseling.'

Initially, this was supposed to be just a one of the feature articles, but it eventually became a cover story. My photos ended up not being used thus sharing them now.
